Gov. Sean Parnell announced the 2014 PFD check to be $1,884 just after 10:30 am.
With that announcement, he added some facts from this year’s and previous check amounts:
The 2014 check is the third largest dividend.
This year 674,538 Alaskans applied, the oldest being 109 years old.
This is the 33rd PFD given to Alaskans with over $22 billion distributed since 1982, including the resource rebate.
For individuals who applied every year since 1982, that cumulative total would be $37,027.
The 2014 checks will be direct deposited and/or mailed October 2.
