Last Friday, September 26, at around 6 pm, Alaska State Troopers made contact with a green pick-up driving on the pedestrian and bike path on K-Beach.
Investigation into the traffic stop of the 1997 Dodge resulted in the arrest of 28 year-old Annie Atkinson of Kenai and 26 year-old Johnathon Smith of Kasilof.
Atkinson was arrested for misconduct involving a controlled substance 4th degree and misconduct involving a controlled substance 5th degree while Smith was arrested for violating his condition of probation and both were transported to Wildwood Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
The truck was released to a family member on scene.
