Organization Deadline for Flooding Reimbursement Approaches

Author: KSRM News Desk |

The Small Business Administration’s loan assistance deadline for private, nonprofit organizations who were economically impacted during the 2013 flooding is October 16.

Those businesses that provided essential services of a governmental nature during the flooding that happened between October 27-28 are eligible for assistance.

Private, nonprofits of any size may apply for the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans which are low-interest federal disaster loans.

Those loans can be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, or other bills that couldn’t be paid due to the economic impact of that flooding on the Kenai Peninsula.
