In our unofficial exit polling at three different locations, it appears incumbent Mayor Mike Navarre is the popular vote so far.
Voters on Mayor: “Mike Navarre… Navarre… Mike Navarre… Oh I like Mike… I’ve got my support behind Mike Navarre… Mike Navarre… Bearup, he’s got pretty good credentials… You know, especially for borough mayor, I like the guy that we have, Navarre… I kind of like that Carrol, I’d like to see a good old farmer get in there.”
We’ve also heard mostly opposition to the borough’s vote by mail proposition which voters are casting advisory votes on.
