In light of recent allegations of sexual advances by military recruiters on students in Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula School District is having a meeting with recruiters.

Erkeneff: “We don’t have any scheduled recruiting activities at this time that we’re aware of at our school. But we are working together and on monday we’re going to be meeting with different recruiters with the superintendent and Mr. Dusek and talking through what are the ways people are vetting and just express our concern and just have a conversation around that.”
Anchorage and Mat-Su school districts have suspended recruiter visits until after similar conversations are scheduled to take place.
