Volleyball Regular Season Enters Final Week With Conference Contests

The final week of the regular season for high school volleyball will feature conference pairings on Friday and Saturday; and opened with a five-game, come-from-behind victory for Nikiski over Kenai on Tuesday night at KCHS.

 

Nikiski 3 – Kenai 2

The Kenai Kardinals could not hold a 2-0 game advantage on Tuesday at KCHS against the Nikiski Bulldogs, dropping three-straight games to the Bulldogs in non-conference volleyball action.

The Kardinals won game one 25-22 and game two 25-17.  Nikiski won game three 26-24 and game four 25-23.  Nikiski took the final game 15-10.

Rachel Thompson lead the Bulldogs with six kills, 17 assists and 11 digs.  Abby Beck recorded 10 kills and 13 assists for the Kardinals.
