Over the weekend the Alaska State Troopers practiced high-visibility enforcement in an effort to keep road safe during Halloween festivities.

During that enforcement Troopers contacted 42 drivers who had been reported to the REDDI system but were determined not to be driving under the influence.

There were nine DUI arrests and nine drivers charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Troopers attended to 11 crashes that only resulted in damage, three crashes with injuries, and one fatal collision. That three vehicle fatal accident involved two Kenai Peninsula residents, for more on that story click here.
