9:40 pm update:
Three of the escapees have been apprehended by the Kenai Police Department near the ice rink by the Challenger Learning Center in Kenai.
Two males are still at large and the Kenai Police are still requesting Kenai residents to be on the look out and contact them at 283-7879 if they see anything suspicious.

Around 8:40 pm Kenai Police were notified that five juvenile males escaped from the Kenai Peninsula Youth Facility located on Marathon Road.
These men are not wearing shoes, may be looking for places to hide and could possibly be dangerous.
Kenai Police Chief Gus Sandahl has asked that if any Kenai residents see suspicious activity that may be related to this to please call the Kenai Police Department at 283-7879 and to keep a safe distance.
