Allie Ostrander, Kenai Central High School senior and three-time Alaska state cross country running champion, has qualified to the 2014 Nike Cross Nationals with an impressive second-place finish at the Nike Cross Northwest Regional event.
Ostrander completed the 5-kilometer course in Boise, Idaho in 18 minutes and 59.5 seconds, good for second place on the snow covered course. Ostrander will next compete at the 2014 Nike Cross Nationals set for Portland , Oregon on December 6th.
