Ashley Nelund appeared in court today for felonies in two separate cases and was sentenced to seven years with three and a half suspended.
In the case pertaining to last year’s November Walmart shooting, Nelund was charged with Misconduct Involving Weapons II and Assault in the Fourth Degree.
Those charges achieved a combined four years with one year six months suspended and five year probation.
In the case pertaining to an unrelated drug charge where there was an exchange of “a small amount” of heroine for suboxone, a known treatment drug for opiates, Nelund was charged with three years with two suspended and five years probation.
