The Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly heard an update from the school district’s Interim Superintendent Sean Dusek this week.
He began by stating disciplinary action across the district has gone down.
He also spoke about teachers and students giving back in the community right now with things like homeless students in the area.
He also recognized Kenai Central High School for recently holding a fundraiser for homeless teens.
