Although the first baby of 2014 was born one year ago today, there are still no Central Peninsula Hospital births for 2015.
Camille Sorenson said usually there’s a baby born in the first few days but it’s not unheard of to have a break in births, although they had deliveries right up until midnight.
Sorenson: “W had several on New Year’s Eve but none since.”
She added that there are some expectant parents already admitted and just waiting for their January babies.
Sorenson: “We gather a gift basket of baby items and items for new moms and give that to them before they leave.”
