The driver of a stolen vehicle which fled from Kenai Police in November was found to already be in custody on other charges and subsequently charged for that.
When Kenai Police attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle on November 27, 2014 the vehicle fled from the officer.
That vehicle was later found abandoned in Nikiski and had been reported stolen by the registered owner.
The Police investigation determined the driver of that vehicle had been 25 year-old Kevin McGee of Kenai.
On January 8 he was remanded on failure to stop at the direction of a police officer, vehicle theft in the first degree, driving while license revoked and driveing in violation of a limited license.
McGee was already lodged at Wildwood Pretrial Facility on separate charges.
