The 2015 Colony Invitational Wrestling Tournament crowned the host team Colony Knights as team champions; with the Soldotna Stars out-pointing Wasilla for the runner-up position in the team scoring.
Three SoHi wrestlers were crowned weight-class champions. Austin Craig won the 113-pound division; Seth Hutchison won the 120-pound title; and Ryan Winter was undefeated at 132 pounds. Hunter Bourgeois, 160, and Sage Hill ,195, both finished as weight-class runner-up.
Kenai Central’s Ellery Steffensen won the Kardinals only individual title at 152 pounds. Dylan Carter placed second in the 170-pound class.
Next on the 4A wrestling schedule is the Glen Vandegraw Tournament at Dimond High School on Friday and Saturday, January 16-17.
