The 24th Kenai Peninsula College Career Day will be Friday, January 30th.
Suzie Kendrick with the college said the event will host about 60 different presenters who will come to the college representing their career fields.
Kendrick: “What happens is that participants can take advantage of these informational sessions where they actually go and interact with the person who is talking about their career field, they’ll be able to speak about why they went into the field, what’s required to be successful in the field, the challenges, the rewards, that sort of interaction so that people can hear from somebody who is an expert who’s lived the experience and can relate it to them and often times people tell me well maybe I’m not quite cut out for that but I was interested to hear this this and this.”
The presenters will be at the Kenai River Campus from 8:45 am until 12 noon on January 30.
