The February 3 Soldotna Chamber of Commerce Luncheon will offer listeners an update on the Kenai Peninsula College.

Katie Jacobson with the chamber…

Kendrick: “Our current spring semester, our registration statistics are at the end of the add drop session is looking positive for us. Overall KPC is up almost 2% compared to the same time last year and as I’ve said in this venue before, if we’re in the black in enrollment we are doing fantastic compared to many many campuses throughout the state, we feel very fortunate.”

We spoke with Suzie Kendrick at KPC who said the Kenai River Campus is doing well.

Jacobson: “Our speaker is Gary Turner, the executive director for the Kenai Peninsula Collage and he’s going to be sharing some new updates that the college has and giving the community a better idea of what is new and happening there.”

Those who would like to attend the luncheon at Froso’s may RSVP to the Soldotna Chamber by calling 262-9814 by 5 pm tonight.
