Kenai City Council’s February 4 meeting will start with the National Anthem by the Kenai Central High School Brass Quintet but most of the interest will be on the City Manager’s report.
Porter: “Our city manager is going to be talking about our animal controls issues that we have at the animal control shelter, regarding some of the things that have come to the councils attention.”
That was Kenai Mayor Pat Porter.
After the Kenai Animal Shelter locked the after hours animal drop cages on January 1 the council has had a variety of feedback from both residents of Kenai and those outside the city.
Also on the agenda, public hearing on appropriating funds for a new rescue boat.
The meeting will begin at 7 pm on February 4 in the Kenai City Council Chambers.
