In one week the Kenai Peninsula School District will hold two meetings seeking public input.

Assistant Superintendent Dave Jones said the meetings will be held at Soldotna High School on February 18.

Jones: “The first one at five o’clock, it’s going to be on pools, our public pools and we’re taking input from the public on how we can do things better and serve them better and we’re trying to take a look at how we can do all that and be economical about it.”

The meetings are back to back with the second meeting on the district’s budget starting at 5:30 pm, also at Soldotna High School.

Jones: “And at that budget meeting we’ll update them on the budget, where it’s at and give them a schedule of when the board will be acting and the legislature and the borough and those things. We’re always looking for input on the budget from folks.”
