Over the weekend a combined response team worked to clean up a spill of over 4,000 gallons of produced fluids from a Milne Point production line.

A Hillcorp field crew notified authorities of the rupture in the 10 inch production line on the morning of Saturday, February 28.

That field crew immediately began a spill response plan.

An estimated 1/4 inch diameter hole spilled fluids including crude oil and produced water onto the pad an tundra.

The cause of the rupture is under investigation and the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation is overseeing the spill.
