The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA) Board has named their new Executive Director: John Springsteen. Springsteen has served as Infrastructure Development Officer for AIDEA since February 2014.
Current Executive Director Ted Leonard recently announced his retirement from 27 years of public service. He served as AIDEA’s Executive Director since May 2008.
The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority is a public corporation of the state, designed to “advance the general prosperity of the people of Alaska.”
AIDEA owns a stake in the Endeavour jack-up rig, formerly owned by Buccaneer.
