Two vehicles had to be towed from the scene of a car accident just after 10pm last night.
State Troopers responded to the crash at mile 64 of the Seward Highway near Hope. They say 68-year-old Clyde Saltz of Soldotna was driving a 2004 Cheby Silverado north when he crossed the center line and sideswiped a 2008 Nissan X-Terra driven south by 32-year-old Victorea Keith of Seward.
Saltz was issued a citation at the scene for Failure to Exercise Due Care to Avoid a Collision and released.
There were no injuries reported in the accident. All parties were transported to Anchorage.
