A tongue-and-groove log home suffered $50,000 worth of damage in a weekend chimney fire.
Central Emergency Services was called to the home at 35188 Alaskan View in Funny River around 8:30pm on Saturday.
Safety Officer Brad Nelson said it took them 15 minutes to get the fire under control and 45 minutes to extinguish it completely.
The home was a two-story structure, 1,500 square feet. No one was inside when crews arrived.
