ENSTAR Encourages Traffic to Heed Caution Signs

Author: archive |

The “Be Prepared to Stop” and flag person symbols on Bridge Access should remind drivers to slow down and use caution.

Lindsay Hobson with ENSTAR said there are no sustained lane closures planned for project right now…

Hobson: “Well we are asking drivers to be aware of truck crossings across the road there, and not to stop and observe the work but to continue to move through the area cautiously.”

She also said drivers may notice drilling equipment start showing up this week but drilling under the river will not begin until next Monday.

The project is going to run 4.4 miles of 16 inch pipe from CINGSA, just off Bridge Access Road in Kenai, under the Kenai River and down K-Beach Road to connect with ENSTAR’s existing network on Amy Lane.
