HOPE Community Services received strong support during this morning’s capital budget testimony from the Kenai Legislative Information Office.
The Finance Committee has four hearings this week as they wrestle with a reduced state budget.
Administrators, like Kenai City Manager Rick Koch, say they’re not expecting much from the capital budget this year…
Koch: “I have very low expectations for any appropriations in the capital budget. Our state finds itself in a fairly precarious financial situation, one that I’m confident we’ll work through.”
Koch said he only expects small appropriations, if any.
