Soldotna Troopers were contacted Saturday morning by Spring Creek Correctional Center in Seward due to an inmate assault.
Officers at the facility told Troopers an inmate had reported being sexually assaulted by another inmate.
Troopers responded to Seward and interviewed the inmate. The incident allegedly happened sometime in the 24-36 hours prior to that.
Investigation is still ongoing.
