The seventh annual Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon is underway and as of 4:30 pm has raised $6,460.
Michelle Partridge said this is her third year volunteering to answer phones for the event.
Partridge: “Just love for children and several families that I know who’ve had children affected by cancer. So just want to do everything that we can to help support St. Jude because it’s just a wonderful program.”
KWHQ 100.1 FM is hosting the radiothon where you can listen for regular updates.
The call bank to donate is open until 7 pm tomorrow, April 17, and can be reached at 283-4504 or 1-800-726-5334.
