Kornelis: “There were some logs and various frost-susceptible materials underneath the asphalt and the sidewalk that were deteriorating and causing the sinkhole.”
The sink holes have been listed as one of the city’s capital priorities, but Kornelis said there’s no set time frame for repair work.
