Kenai residents may soon see concrete details for the Bluffs Stabilization Project this week; City Manager Rick Koch says City Administrators will meet with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers today and tomorrow, ahead of tomorrow evening’s public meeting…
Koch: “They will be making a two-day presentation to governments and groups and regulatory agencies about the work they will be performing over the next, as much as two years, for the final feasibility study.”
The preliminary design of the project will be put on display and residents will get to ask some of their long-held questions…
Koch: “What will the construction look like? How long will it take? What impacts might there be? Which properties may be lost and need to be a part of the project because there’s not anything left of them to be saved?”
Tomorrow’s meeting will start at 6pm at Kenai City Hall.
