A Kenai man was arrested May 5 for allegedly sexually abusing a 15 year old girl.
Officers found 20 year-old Joshua Brown and the girl in a car at the end of Spur View Drive in Kenai around 1 am.
Although Brown was not wearing a shirt he denied any sexual activity had taken place; he was allowed to leave and the girl was taken home.
According to court documents, the girl’s father requested she be interviewed by the Child Advocacy Center.
During that interview, she said Brown knew she was 15 and they had been sexually active.
Kenai Police interviewed Brown, who eventually admitted he knew the victim’s age and confirmed they had been sexually active.
He was arrested May 5 for sexual abuse of a minor which is a Class B felony.
