The House Finance Committee took public testimony Friday where one theme consistently recurred: work together to find Alaska’s best interests.
Alaskans from across the state said standing for what you believe is great however the legislature needs to work together rather than argue among themselves or with the governor.
While many were requesting consideration for various areas of the budget to be increased, a select few said more cuts were needed.
