Kenai Police have confirmed they are investigating a suicide which occurred last night (Saturday) along the bluff near Kenai’s Municipal Park.
Officer Alexs Prins said KPD responded at 8:23am this morning for the report of a male found on the ground. The responding officer located a deceased adult male at the south end of the park. Family members say the death occurred towards the bushes, hidden from the children’s play area.
Initial investigation indicates the manner of death as a suicide.
Next of kin have been notified.
Out of respect for the family involved, no further details will be released.
