The legislature has sent Alaska’s 2016 Operating Budget to the governor after approving the compromise earlier today.
The budget was similar to the version passed by the House two weeks ago; Senator Peter Micciche detailed the final.
He said he sees it as both sides working to agree on over $800 million in cuts.
Senator Micciche also thanked Alaskans for their patience..
