The Peninsula Oilers scored 18 runs in just six innings en route to an 18-4 victory over the Alaska Goldpanners in Alaska Baseball League action in Fairbanks on Thursday.
The Oilers amassed 18 hits, scored 18 runs and five Oilers pitchers combined to allow runs in only two innings. James Faulkes collected six RBI in the contest with a triple double and pair of singles. Joe Mata pitched four innings allowing three runs and is credited with the win.
The Oilers open a three game home stand on Saturday, July 4th at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.
