Wednesdays in the Park Successful but Winding Down

Just two Wednesday markets are left to look forward to this summer in Soldotna Creek Park.

Annette Villa has collaborated with the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce to organize vendors for the market since the beginning of June.

Villa: “It’s grown a lot and people really like it in the park because it’s got a really nice atmosphere and we have a really nice variety of vendors. We have quite a bit of food that comes in so we have a lot of options that way and then of course we have the farmers that come in a bring their produce, and the crafters. So there’s just a nice variety of options for people in the community to bring their out of town guests.”

This is the market’s first year back at that location after a hiatus while the stage was built and park was hydroseeded.

The remaining days fall on August 19 where Graceland Connection will play for Live after Five and August 26 which will see the band Animal Eyes.
