A slew of presentations will be given at the Kenai Peninsula Borough’s Healthcare Task Force tonight.
Central Peninsula Hospital CEO Rick Davis is up first with an overview of how nationwide healthcare changes are making the hospital vulnerable, their survival plans, and what work is happening now.
A presentation South Peninsula Hospital will also be given. CEO Bob Letson gave a quarterly report on the hospital last night.
Other presentations include a recap of the 2014 Rural Health Care Leadership Conference that was attended by borough administrators and presentations from local doctors on the transformation of healthcare in Alaska.
That meeting will begin at 6:30 pm in the Borough Assembly Chambers in Soldotna on Wednesday, September 16.
