Governor Bill Walker will announce this year’s Permanent Fund Dividend check amount on Monday, September 21.
Those interested may stream the announcement live online at 10:00 am Monday from gov.alaska.gov/livestream.
Last year’s dividend was $1,884.
The 2014 PFD check to Alaskans saw an increase since the year of recession, 2008, dropped from the five-year average of the fund’s investments on which the yearly check is based.
