The Kenai Peninsula has a high population of senior citizens. A series of seminars addressing Medicare, caregiving, and retirement will take place Friday and Saturday in Soldotna.
Health Program Manager Judith Bendersky with Alaska’s Department of Health & Social Services will be hosting two Medicare seminars Friday, October 2.
The Get Ready for Medicare sessions are Friday October 2nd from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. and again at 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Bendersky says the Caregiving 101 seminar will be sandwiched between those from 1:30 – 5:00 pm Friday.
The seminars are free and open to anyone interested in attending but registration is requested.
