Federal agents in the last 15 months have arrested more than 150 alleged wholesalers, money launderers and others involved in trafficking synthetic drugs from China.
Proceeds have flowed to what the Drug Enforcement Administration called “countries of concern in the Middle East” where it’s feared the money is funding terrorism.
