The overlap of the high school wrestling and high school football seasons was evident on Saturday, as the opening wrestling tournament of 2015 crowned the SoHi wrestling team champions at the Luke Spruil Memorial Tournament just hours before the Stars captured the state Medium School football championship.
SoHi recorded 186.5 points and crowned champions in 10 weight classes.
The high school wrestling season runs through December 19th, a short season with the state championships on December 18th and 19th at Chugiak High School.
