ConocoPhillips Alaska laid off 120 employees statewide in the company’s most recent job cuts according to spokeswoman Natalie Lowman.
Those workforce reductions, which include severance packages, mark the second round of layoffs for the company this year.
The worldwide oil giant announced a 10 percent global workforce reduction in September, just six months cutting around 25 Alaskan jobs in March.
ConocoPhillips had around 1,200 employees in the state earlier this year, and some had expressed interest in a severance offer, according to Lowman.
Lowman cited low oil prices for the company’s recent cuts in Alaska.
