The Kenai Kardinals and Soldotna Stars hockey teams hit the road and will hit the ice in Big Lake this week, scheduled to compete in the Big Lake Lions Classic hockey tournament. Following three-straight conference games this past weekend, both Kenai and SoHi will play another three-game series beginning on Thursday, December 10th at the Big Lake Arena.
Thursday’s opening round includes the Stars paired against the Lathrop Malemutes in the tournament’s 2:00 p.m. game; the Kardinals will face-off against the Palmer Moose at 5:00 p.m. Other teams entered in the Big Lake tournament include: Colony, Wasilla, East Anchorage and Houston.
