Winter break begins this Friday for district schools of the central peninsula.
O’Brien: “So just a reminder there’s no school for students on Friday. School will start back up again on Monday, January 4.”
Assistant Superintendent John O’Brien says there are a variety of student Christmas concerts and performances scheduled before the break starts.
O’Brien: “Check out our website, our app, and social sites at the schools if you’re considering attending one of those quality concerts or performances.”
He also encouraged people to stop by their local schools and ask about participating in holiday food collections or gift programs to help others in our local community.
