Senior basketball players from all four classifications from throughout Alaska will compete in the Alaska Association of Basketball Coaches 2023 Senior All-Star Games and weekend activities scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 14th and 15th at Grace Christian School in Anchorage.
Eight Kenai Peninsula high school seniors have been selected and are registered to compete in the AABC Senior All-Star Games.
Friday’s all-senior activities will include three-point shooting contests at 6 p.m. and a player’s social and all-star shooting competition scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The Senior All-Star basketball games are scheduled for Saturday, April 15th with 4A and 3A players combining and 1A and 2A players combining for games throughout the day, beginning at 2 p.m. in the Grace Christian gymnasium.
The 4A/3A girls open the day’s contests at 2 p.m. with a 3 pt. shooting final at halftime. The 4A/3A boys game follows at 3:30 p.m. with a dunk competition at the half.
The 1A/2A girls game starts at 5:30 p.m. and the 1A/2A boys game follows at 7:15 p.m.
The AABC Hall of Fame inductions will be at the halftime of the 1A/2A girls game (approximately 6:15 p.m.).
