A minor accident near Spenard Builder’s Supply in Soldotna has Central Emergency Services vehicles on scene.
Safety Officer Brad Nelson said there were no significant injuries and no one was taken to hospital. He reminded drivers to be aware of changing road conditions.
Nelson: “And it’s typical this time of year but especially this year, with the weird weather that we’ve had this year, you’ll go through long stints of dry roads but any time there’s shade or fluctuating temperatures you can still have ice, extremely slick ice on these roads. And it’s not just in the early morning and late hours that we’re used to typically with the ice, it can be all throughout the day.”
Soldotna Police Officers have been on scene interviewing the drivers involved.
