A two week work stoppage strike for ENSTAR employees happened in August after a compromise deal about pensions fell through.
John Sims with ENSTAR…
Sims: “No there weren’t any significant changes from the our current employee perspective. We do have two ratified contacts now. Everyone did come back to work after a couple week work stoppage but now everything is back to normal.”
During that statewide strike temporary workers from the Lower 48 were brought up while employees picketed.
