If you missed out on grabbing a ticket to the “Weird Al” Yankovic show at the 2025 Alaska State Fair, you’re in luck. The pop culture icon will now perform a second show after the immense public demand for tickets to his first show.

“In response to overwhelming demand, “Weird Al” Yankovic’s second performance at the Alaska State Fair has been added for August 17 at 2 p.m., following the sell-out of his previously announced evening show,” the Alaska State Fair said in a press release.

Yankovic will now perform at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, as part of the Fair’s 2025 ConocoPhillips Alaska Concert Series. Tickets to the 2 p.m. show will go on sale to the public Friday, November 1, at 10 a.m. AKST at alaskastatefair.org.

“Weird Al” is the biggest-selling comedy recording artist of all time, with classic song and music video parodies such as “Eat It,” “Like a Surgeon,” “Smells Like Nirvana,” “Amish Paradise,” “White & Nerdy” and “Word Crimes,” as well as original (non-parody) material.

Now in his fourth decade as America’s foremost song parodist, Yankovic has been the recipient of numerous awards, including five Grammys® (out of 16 total nominations) and a string of Gold and Platinum albums.

In addition to remaining active as a recording artist, Yankovic has been a staple of film and television and added “New York Times bestselling author” to his resumé in 2011 with the release of his children’s book, When I Grow Up.

Concert-goers have the option to purchase concert-only tickets or tickets, including Fair admission. The included admission is discounted and good for the day of the concert only. Concert tickets, including Fair admission, must be purchased by August 14. Details on ticket options and pricing are available on the Fair website. Convenience fees apply to all online concert ticket purchases.
