Al Aska Shriners Classic Spotlights Alaska’s Top Senior Football Players

The 41st annual Al Aska Shriners Classic, featuring the top senior football players from throughout Alaska, is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28th at Alumni Field at Dimond High School.

 

The senior all-star game combines seniors from around the state and from all three state classifications for a benefit, season-ending football contest with the proceeds going to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

This game was created in 1976 and has benefited more than 800 Alaskan children and more than 1 million children nationwide. Shriners Hospitals for Children provides care for children regardless of the families ability to pay.

 

Players scheduled to participate include: (game day roster may include others)

SoHi:

Brandon Crowder, 1st Team All-State Quarterback

Brenner Furlong,  1st Team All-State Fullback and Outside Linebacker

Wendall Tuisaula, 1st Team All-State Guard and Inside Linebacker

Jake Marcuson, 1st Team All-State Tackle

KCHS: 

Seth Kruse, 1st Team All-State Inside Linebacker

Rykker Riddall, 1st Team All-State Outside Linebacker
