The second most patriotic state in America is Alaska, according to a consumer information website.
To determine where Americans bleed the most red, white and blue, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 13 key indicators of patriotism. The data set ranges from average number of military enlistees to share of adults who voted in the 2016 presidential election to AmeriCorps volunteers per capita.
Alaska ranks number one for most veterans per ca-pita and number four for the highest average number of military enlistees and peace corps volunteers.
The most patriotic state in the study was Virginia. Wyoming came in third after Alaska.
The least patriotic were Massachusetts, Illinois and New Jersey.
