Registration is open for local businesses to learn more about being involved with the Alaska LNG Project.
The Project’s Socioeconomic Lead Michael Nelson said those interested should register by this Friday, April 17.
Nelson: “Any business that feels like they may have an opportunity to support either construction or operation of a facility like this, the focus of these sessions will be on construction. So I know that there are a lot of businesses in this area who already support oil and gas activities or oil and gas activities and so I would assume they might have an interest in the business information sessions. If you’re not sure, register, come to the session and find out if there’s a fit for your business.”
He said those presentations will be the first to roll out business opportunities with the project.
Those business sessions will be held in Anchorage on Monday, April 27, and in Kenai, Wednesday, April 29.
