Representatives with the Alaska LNG project will host a morning community gathering this Saturday at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center.

Local LNG representative Josselyn O’Connor said last month’s meeting to prepare attendees for the project’s release of the second draft of 13 resource reports.

O’connor: “So very soon, end of March or early April, we’ll be submitting our next round of resource reports so we’d like to share with the community what types of information will be included in those draft reports, and help them understand how to read these reports.”

She says the Alaska LNG team is always available to answer questions but these reports will be available for those community members who would like to dig into answers a little more.

O’connor: “What the Alaska LNG Project would like to do is to continue the dialogue with the community, thus we’re going to strengthen the project and we’re going to make sure we have the best information available as we make a FEED decision in early 2017.”

The “Coffee with Alaska LNG” event will take place from 9:00 – 10:30 am this Saturday, February 20, at the Kenai Visitors Center.
